Historie
Het appartementencomplex was het voormalig modemagazijn van de firma Lijnkamp op de hoek van de Dagelijkse Groenmarkt en de Nieuwstraat, gebouwd in 1910 naar ontwerp van de architect L.A.H. de Wolf in de stijl van de Weense Sezession. Uitvoerder was de aannemer J.P.J. Lorrie. Omschrijving.

Het pand behoort tot de periode van ruim tien jaar waarin L. de Wolf een groot aantal panden bouwde in de stijl van de Weense Sezession, direct volgend op zijn studie aan de Akademie der Bildende Kunste in Wenen (1897-1899). Waardering.

Het pand is architectuurhistorisch van waarde als voorbeeld van de Wiener Sezession-stijl met een functionele constructie van glas, natuursteen en ijzer. Hoofdvorm, detaillering en het toegepaste materiaal zijn gaaf. Tevens van belang binnen de ontwikkeling van het oeuvre van L.A.H. de Wolf. History
